Taras Shevchenko | Presence Training

Taras Shevchenko was a Ukrainian poet, writer, artist, and national hero. He became a fellow of the Imperial Academy in St. Petersburg and later joined the emerging national movement in Ukraine. Shevchenko's poetry is considered some of the most beautiful and expressive in the Ukrainian language. He was a talented artist who studied painting at the Imperial Academy. His artwork has been exhibited in museums and galleries around the world. Shevchenko's work has been translated into many languages. He was influenced by the works of Alexander Pushkin and Mikhail Lermontov. Shevchenko's work has been compared to that of Ukrainian literature and Russian literature.
